My old computer is now in a better place. It was acting weird and very slow so I had a friend look at it and well, he pulled it apart and as of today it is still that way.

Right now I am on one of my uncle's old computers but it has nothing on it so it runs a bit faster.

I know, I know, I am so bad at keeping up with these online blog type deals. Shame on me.

Montreal with Katie and James in 12 days!

Anyone have any suggestions of a good book to read over the summer? It could be fiction or non-fiction, I enjoy both.

10:57 am - my new home?
Can you believe that Boston still has a law on the books from 1675 that says no (American) Indian can step foot inside the city limits? It looks like they are just getting around to repealling it now. That is so offensive. The full story is here

10:27 pm - automatic writing
i also posted this in the freewriters community:

"a never ending spiral of crashing burning sound, its inside me its breathing me out and in and where ever i'm falling i'm falling free but i stop short of dying, or finding some formal release, some interlude that could bridge these hollows and fill these gaps, that could balloon up to become my savior, floating free and clear, like a easy day with a gentle breeze, i seize onto something, a drowing leaf in the deepest puddle that is icy cold, dark and damned yet shallow enough to spill over my body, to dispel my weight, my presense, my actuality, my replapsed reality that is become way too perfectly clear inside the instance of a single drop of water. the morning breaks when the dew is fresh and i never rest, i barely remain."

10:51 pm - I like the answer except for the conceited part...
Starving Artist
You are 14% Rational, 28% Extroverted, 42% Brutal, and 57% Arrogant.

You are the Starving Artist! You are more intuitive than logical, and
are primarily guided by your heart and emotions. You are also very
introverted and gentle. Of course, this does not mean that you do not
have an ego. In fact, you are surprisingly arrogant for someone so
emotional and gentle. This is why you are best described as a starving
artist. You are very introspective and quite sure of yourself, as any
accomplished artist is, yet your views are impractical, emotional, and
overly gentle. You probably find math, logic, and similar intellectual
pursuits offensive to your artistic sensibilities, and you prefer the
open-endedness of artistry because then you know you can never truly
have a wrong answer. So really you have no reason to be arrogant, you
big doofus, because the skills you value (emotion, spirit, art, etc.)
in yourself are valuable only on a subjective level, meaning your
arrogance is purely masturbatory. In short, your personality is
defective because you are arrogant, introverted, introspective, gentle,
and thoroughly irrational...posessing most of the traits needed to be a
starving--and useless--artist. So get out there, write a few short
stories that are allegories for the spirit, and starve!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.

2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Capitalist Pig.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Haughty Intellectual, the Televangelist, and the Emo Kid.

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you
could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42%
Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is
close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well.
Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can
determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored
near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

Bacardi 151
Congratulations! You're 144 proof, with specific scores in beer (140) , wine (33), and liquor (121).

All right. No more messing around. Your knowledge of alcohol is so high
that you have drinking and getting plastered down to a science. Sure,
you could get wasted drinking beer, but who needs all those trips to
the bathroom? You head straight for the bar and pick up that which is
most efficient.

I saw Sin City and really loved it. It was a very stunning movie with it's visuals. I think I may get my hair cut tommorrow. Nothing drastic just some new layers and maybe some red chunks if I have time.

4:46 pm - new!
I have not had a livejournal in eons! Not since I was a silly teenager. I forgot how addicting it was to look for neat people and communities. I need some new "friends"!

I am moving (well temporarily) to the US in August, I love big changes and new places. Watch out Boston!
